My mods are completed now.
I have upgraded my suspension with aluminum control arms and steering components. The front arms are HSP that I shortened 7mm each. The rear arms I made from scratch. The steering components were each modified to fit my application. I made a full frame pan to replace the plastic pan. I made the front suspension mount removable for ease of future modifications.
I have a Hobbywing 5.5T EZRun Brushless Motor with a cooling fan. I have a Hobbywing 80a ESC with cooling fan. I installed a Solar High Speed (.06 sec) Servo and modified the geometry of the steering angle for max tuning. I have a locked rear differential and a one way front differential. I am using a Venom 5000ma Lipo. I made my own ABS tires. About 5 sets for $3. They are perfect on smooth surfaces. I have a set of soft grip tires for speed runs. For drifting in parking lots I use a 64/13 gear ratio. For speed runs with grip tires I use 64/27 that gets about 50 mph. The motor gets up to 170 degrees fairly fast. It would be better for me to have a 120a ESC. Get that later. I am good with the drift gears for now. I have a ESS Sound Simulator Box that make it all seem real. I bought a scale driver and interior from Sears, of all places. My car looks just like my real car and it attracts a lot of people when I am out in public especially at the Race Track. The real Race Track parking lots. Everybody loves toys.
