The one in my case was somewhere else though.

OLF Coupeville is military property. I think the Coupeville group is still active, but in what may be an ominous sign, the group using a military facility in Pensacola lost their field. I suspect installations command is looking at these agreements. The main problem is that if you give access to one group, then you're bound to give access to all similar groups that ask - and unfortunately similar is very broadly defined. Many other groups that might ask are not compatible with military facilities, airspace, values, etc. Since some you definitely don't want, you have to tell everyone no and/or terminate existing agreements.

Only BSA and GSA have blanket exemptions - one that is written into law.
