I have advised my friend to replace his P 70 with a P 80 for a little more thrust and for quicker acceleration. I have some hands on time with P70 but none with P 80. My impression is that P 80 is a for sure a pretty substantial improvement when it comes to time to accelerate. It takes his P70 about 3.5 to 4 seconds to start making some useable power when going from idle to full throttle with the stick and about 7 to 8 seconds to reach full RPM.

Is my impression of the P 80 correct that it is a substantial improvement over P 70 ???
