Default Data warning after selecting model

My 18mz has been faultless for the past 4 years but it did something today which I need to find out if it was a random glitch o r something more serious.

Just had 3 great flights with my jet, decided as conditions weren't the best to blow some dust off my heli. Switched radio on, went into my model list to select the model I wanted, but when I hit select I got a data warning (can't remember exact wording, could have initialisation fail or something), the alarm was beeping and the screen was flashing a warning to power the tx off. Once I switched it back on, even though the name for the heli is still in the list, the complete models settings have been deleted and reset back to new default aircraft.

I tried selecting another model, no problems, but I need to know if anyone has had this happen before and whether I've got a problem or just had one of those random software bugs.

I'm going to back up the rest of my models as a precaution as I've completely lost all setting for my heli.

Thanks for your help.

Simon
