Just some food for thought! Unfortunately iv'e had a few of these Ultra Lightinings and they do have a few problems in my opinion. Iv'e had two that the ailerons started to delaminate. One crashed on flight # 15 with something coming off the jet and the second one i caught just before taking off which would have been flight #16 on that particular jet . I found that running a very small bead of Aeropoxy along the foam that is about a 1/8"from the live hinge stopped that problem. The other problem i believe is the flimsy aluminum angles used to hold the upper by pass in the fuselage . It's too thin and is nothing but ornamental aluminum. I change those out (4) as soon as i start assembling the jet. I use 1/8 " aircraft grade angles now and that resolved that problem. I lost my 2nd jet to this problem. The turbine shifted and than the fuse broke in half mid flight. I buy the aluminum from Online Metals over the internet. Not trying to scare you or anything ,just trying to pass on some experience that iv'e had with the UL Other than that i love the way they fly and land! I must i have two right now LOL
Good luck with your flights
