I have been very late in answering PM's lately simply because I never think about them. The new RCU needs a notifier like the old one had, at least something that changes the color of "INBOX" so you know when a new PM is in there.
Jeremy - I've been asking for that for months - believe me, we mod's get far more PM's than anyone else (especially the comm' mod's), because every time someone reports a post, we get a PM about it ... and the reporting user expects the issue to be dealt with "now", yet we often don't even know that we have a PM waiting. So, you can rest assured that I have been beating Marc up about this shortcoming for a while, and will continue to do so until it is implemented.
BTW, there's a "suggestions" forum that Marc and the other top guys monitor - so you might want to post any suggestions you have in there - that way the "boss" sees it, instead of just us peons
In case it helps in the meantime - supposedly you can set your preferences to get an email and/or a pop-up window when a PM arrives. Neither of these suits my needs, but they might work for you in the short term while we wait for a fix.
