Yeah, Dave lost to Ivan in '83, but Ivan flew his Citation extremely well and just a bit better than Dave. I was 5 flyers behind Ivan in '83 and saw all of his flights and they were impressive. I only saw 3 of Dave's flights including his last one which was good, but not good enough. Dave actually flew his Illusion again about 7 years later at the Nats, more to participate than compete seriously, though he did pretty well.
Both models fly great. I have a Citation kit waiting to be built one of these days.
