When start the update process it tells me to turn off the TX and disconnect the motor and then turn it back on. Since I don't have it connected to a RX or in the fuse. I am assuming that I would just disconnect the battery and connect it again. At that point it starts to download and it get all the way through as if it downloaded and installed and then it gives me the " update didn't work"
If you needed to connect the battery to get the Cortex to "connect" and communicate with the PC via the USB cable, I would assume you need to leave the battery connected during the entire upgrade process.
I assume the bit about turning the Tx off and disconnecting the motor is for when it's connected to a receiver and installed in an electirci plane to prevent the motor from accidentally turning on.
