I wont put a lipo in my jets since their is no need for it in my opinion.The only thing that gets lipos on my planes are small electric planes that need the power.

I use LIFE packs so the fire risk goes down some.

For the light ring I use power from the 3 cell LIFE ECU battery in 3 of the planes I built and it works fine. No need for en extra battery. Also Barry at kingtech sells good LIFE packs for a good price. We use them in all our planes.
