Getting my first jet together. Following the advice of several local jet flyers here and installing 2 A123 batts to receiver(although jet instructions say 1 batt), one lipo to ecu.
But I have to tell you, I just installed some hv servos and a 2s 1250 batt in my 3d plane, me likey lottie. And the surprising fact is they don't use near the juice I thought they would. I could probably get 10 flights on the flight battery before I need to charge (though I won't push it that far). Still the thing that I don't like is having to storage charge them at the end of the day. But in the future I can see equipping my next jet this way. The increased power and speed of the servos is addictive.
