One of the things that confuses beginners is the heli wants to lean to the right a littel, when hovering (the tail rotor tries to push the heli a littel to the left so you have to lean the main rotor a littel to the right to ballance it) make very small smooth corections with the stick.

Annother thing you can do to make it easier is make the heli bigger. edit the heli, and change its name, then change the visual scale. easier to see and makes it seem like it is moving slow.
