I am sure that with lots of elbow grease and creativity, the wing is salvageable... but the issue I see is... it is a ONE PIECE WING.
I can state from personal experience that sanding, covering, and painting a 9 foot wing is a PITA!
You also need to consider the loads placed on the wing by the landing gear.... if you build a two-piece wing that plugs into a center section.... and the center section also mounts the gear, then you can move the aircraft around on its main gear WITHOUT having to attach the wing.
You may want to consider rebuilding as a two-piece wing. Hostetler Gee Bee Z plans would probably do the trick.
