Hi Harvey ,

My magazines only suffer one of two fates . The first and most usual thing is that after I read them I leave them in whichever Doctor's or Dentist's (or whatever) office that I have an appointment with when I've finished reading it . The second fate is that the glossy cover can be a great surface to mix a bit of epoxy on in a pinch when doing some quick repairs , and well , can't go leaving a coverless magazine for anybody (kinda like eating the top of the muffin and leaving them the stump ) so in the trash it goes . Ratio ? maybe 9 or 10 a year are left in the offices and a couple or three fall victim to various projects .

I keep every receipt and owner's manual of every piece of hobby equipment I buy , but I never have I kept collections of M.A. , nor any other hobby magazine I've been subscribed to over the years . Especially now where the internet keeps copies of everything , I see even less reason to keep giant stacks of magazines around , with the right search no mater what it is , pretty much everything but tomorrow's winning lottery number can be found if ya search in the right places .
