I use Robart hinge points for all my flying surfaces. I drill the Hinge point holes then take a piece of welding rod of the correct dia, bend a loop in it. ( A coat hanger will do)Then I push one end in a hinge hole at one end of the "Flap/ Aileron/ rudder" and the other end of the wire in a hole at the opposite end of the surface. Be sure to have some tension on the "Spring" in the wire. Makes a nice handle to hold the part with while spraying and also adjusting the angle of the part so you can see the shine (or lack off).[8D]
