Start a new thread and you will get lots of updated information. I have been here since 2010 and and not even heard of most of the posters in this thread. Hobbico wrote and said the hobbistar is covered with a covering from china but does not have a name on it. I am guessing it is the same stuff sold by Hobby King and Value Hobby. I have a Tower Trainer and I am sure it has the same covering on it. And you can repair it with MK and it can be shrunk if needed. Matter of fact it seems to need less touching up than monokote.

There is a guy at the flying field with a Hobbistar 60 with a 4 stroke engine on it. Its a nice flying plane. A new thread on 60 size planes would be great.
