I apologize for being incommunicado or at best having spotty communications. It appears my ATT Uverse gateway has given up the ghost after 3 years service. ATT was here today to make it whole.

Phordman if you haven't already sent your unit off, send it to me and I'll replace it. I have to send off another one which I'm behind on.

The thoughts you guys floated has occurred to me as well. All the units were sent by Ivano to me via UPS. large boxes with individually packaged units in static proof bags as you see them. The micro sd cards were in their own carrier. I have no way of knowing what they were subjected to on the way over to me. If it was some sort of EM interference I would think they would all exhibit failures. Either way I wouldn't even know what to ask. I've had numerous rc devices and other devices sent from over seas but have yet to find any damaged by being electronically compromised. And why these, why not all electronics. While I can't discount any possibility I think it is remote. Perhaps at some point Ivano has the resources to analize these units to better make a determination as to what happened.

In the mean time I have removed all of these units from my web store and I'm in the process of shutting down my web store altogether.

I've had brief dialog with Ivano and I owe him information he requested.

I want to apologize again for distress these things have caused you guys. Hobbies are supposed to be a haven from real world stress and problems. Not so good is the haven is compromised. For me while I'm obviously not going to give up a 4 decades old hobby, my days as a vendor are done. I probably won't run out of IBUs I can use for the foreseeable future so I can build every tank or half track I've ever dreamed of.
And now I can return to my first love: 1/10 scale; without feeling guilty...

I know what I'll be giving friends for their birthdays and Christmas also...
