Yup, excessive air pressure inside the fuse blowing the doors open. If the planes had more air flow through the fuse the doors would stay shut instead.
I guess the intakes could be restricted so there's less air pressure inside the fuse. Just providing what the engine needs. The tail pipe bulkhead has to be less restrictive too. These engines don't need the huge intakes like the full scale engines do.
