(Sorry not a reply to your post Ian but there doesn't seen to be a way to start a new post)
I have bought a new turbine for my 1400 which is thankfully less wonky than the last but now I don't know the new orientation on the shaft. It is advertised on the JJ website as a "turbine wheel (balanced)", does this mean that the orientation of the turbine on the shaft no longer matters?
The turbine has been through the balancing process as grinding is clearly visible on the ring.
