I did not use the stand at all when I painted the Kingcat. I hung it with a piece of 3/4" conduit shoved through the forward wing tube. If I would have had time I would have built a fixture to hold the fuse then bolted it to one of my short pipes that mount in the stand. FWIW a piece of 3/4" galvanized rigid conduit (or sch 40 black pipe) fits perfectly through the top.
