My Roo with the 500, and the one with the 1000, were set up the same. Set the mount on the Roo and then shim the back of the engine up 1/16 inch. This is a good starting point and may vary depending on your aircraft. Also, are you talking about putting a 500 in a 750 mount? The diameter of the engines are very different.
