Question Electric to nitro question on new receiver

Hello all,

I'm relatively new to RC Planes. I bought a Sky Surfer Electric Plane about a year ago. Flew with it a lot and crashed it a lot. So now I felt confident to try a bigger plane. I got a second hand plane with a Glow Engine for a good price. Don't want to spend to much on it seeing that it is my first nitro plane and I need to learn a lot about it before I can go all out.

Here is my dilema:

I have a FlySky FS-i6 radio and reciever for the Sky Surfer and using a 3 Cell X-Power Li-Po 11.1V 1300mAh Battery.

The new plane is using a JR Propo Quattro radio with a R700 7ch slimline reciever.
Servos are JR Servo NES-577
Battery is a JR Propo 4N600 Ni-Cd 4.8V 600mAh.

Can I, and if so, how do I use my FlySky TX and RX with the Li-Po battery on the new plane?
Will the RX be able to power and control the servos?
And more importantly, how to I get from 11.1V down to the +-5V to supply the FlySky RX and servos since I will not be using the SCR anymore?
The old battery for both the servos and the radio are not holding charge anymore, and also the flysky is in my opinion a better setup than the one I recieved with the plane.

Any help and information would be much appreciated.
