Default RE: homey 25 mufflers

Homelite sells a little square Box shapped muffler that is held together with the two mounting bolts. Its only like $13.95 It's easy to take it apart and grind out the baffle. The outlet is at the top of the back side. I plugged this hole and ran two out the top made from steel gas tubing from the auto parts store. I brazed them in with a torch... If the muffler or the tubing has cadium plating on them, it will have to be removed or the braze will not stick.

Carr Precision makes some nice aluminum mufflers that are rather universal, don't cost or weigh much. I thought he shipped to Canada? Get on the Web site and see?

Enjoy,

Jim
