The landing gear is a joke. The airplane will be all over the place. You will scrape the wing tips guranteed on landings. I have a saito 100 inverted and it is a perfect match for this plane. The two strokes just don't run very well inverted unless you install a onboard heater. Once the plane is in the air it flys like it is on rails. I installed the 3/16 wire struts from robart and the plane handles real well now. I am using the stock tailwheel which works just fine for me. I see no need to replace it. I have over twenty flights on the plane with no problems. Good luck on your maiden flight. Be ready for the dreaded ground loop, add throttle SLOWLY.
