Mohawk is the choice!
I'm actually without a flyable airframe at the minute due to selling my Allure. I’ve decided to build the orange Mohawk Alchemy to replace the Allure.
I’ve started on the assembly/build. Servos will be MKS HV6130H (23 grams each) on the elevators and MKS HV747 on the Ailerons. The rudder will use an MKS HV1220. Last night I made the elevator servo plates which get glued into the stabs and also the aileron reduction plates. These will be glued under the existing plates in the wings hence being two piece is get in the current opening. BTW, Bryan has improved the aileron cutouts/servo mounting point over the Allure. Much better finish IMHO.
I’ve also laminated the lite Ply rudder servo tray, added a Servo doubler and 1/4” x 1/4” balsa to stiffen the whole rudder plate up. Managed to leave half the skin from my fingers on the tray too. Ah the joys of CA.
Cheers,
Jason.
