servo qustion
oke guys what do you think off this servo setup
elevator ditex td0606m 7,4 volt 5,7 kg weight 23 gram
aileron ditex td0806md 7,4 volt 7.0 kg weight 40 gram (option ditex td1609s 7.4volt 13.2 kg weight 63 gram)
rudder ditex td2211s 7.4 volt 19.0kg weight 65 gram
how much torque do you need for the different surface
thanks marco

My Feedback: (4)
oke guys what do you think off this servo setup
elevator ditex td0606m 7,4 volt 5,7 kg weight 23 gram - OK
aileron ditex td0806md 7,4 volt 7.0 kg weight 40 gram - OK
(option ditex td1609s 7.4volt 13.2 kg weight 63 gram) - Overkill and too heavy for ailerons
rudder ditex td2211s 7.4 volt 19.0kg weight 65 gram - OK, but a bit lighter would be good. Around 15 kg and the 40 - 50 gram mark is what I look for.
how much torque do you need for the different surface
thanks marco

Please note: I have not used these servos, so can't comment on the servo quality. I'm referring to torque figures and weight.

Hello Marco,
I've used Ditex servos on my latest F3A model and I'm not exactly convinced of them.
The TD0606 is no longer available. In addition, it gets very quickly a relatively large bearing clearance. The bearing clearance of the larger servos is very good.
Furthermore, the servos have a high power consumption. In my opinion, much more than others. If you are not using a BEC, you should be careful with the receiver battery here.
In my opinion, the price / performance ratio does not fit.
The servos are very noisy in the zero position and regulate here continuously (specially the TD0905).
I use the TD0606 on elevator, the TD0905 on aileron and the 1609 on rudder.
In any case, I will soon throw out the TD0606 again and consider me to replace the TD0905.
I'm going back to Futaba.
Gerhard
