Like everything it depends how you are using it. People ‘fill’ their cylinders with lube expecting it to solve impossible leaks. I’d say if the cylinder is close to the valve no, but through from a wing I know I managed it with my Bandit which had a UP valve and needed small lube applications to keep the system from “ breathing”
