i suggest you invest in a 6s foam edf to get you going in the right direction. you will need to train your eyes to the speed and small size at distance of a jet. the wings are small so the orientation is tough.
the freewing avanti will hit 100mph level and give you great take offs and landings. good investment for a way to get your feet wet. i know many pilots of turbines still take along an edf to get a flight in before they fly the turbine. just gets you used to the approaches being long and shallow. no harrier landings with most jets. and a nose up on final can spell disaster with a wing stall so be ready for an entire different flying style. not much of your 3d will kick in with a turbine but stick time is good to have under your belt.
this jet will be fine is you fly it like a jet and respect the above mentioned style when landing or going at under half throttle.. it will last you a long time and expand your skills past most other pilots in a short time.
