I hadn’t really thought about the heat issue as the turbine itself is further back in the nose. I’ll have a think and maybe just monitor it when I first run it up.
Please keep an eye for early signs of paint softening/blistering on the cowl halves.
Similar issues have been reported on the Skymaster PC-21
The most common fix is heat paint and/or heat blanket
