I noticed that the PC21 wasn’t longer on the PacificRCJets website?
Jean Marc has quite a few schemes to choose from now. When I bought mine, it was one red or red/white ...I got the red/white. His new RAAF scheme is really nice.
Shipping from Luxembourg to Boston MA was very fast and plane arrived well packed and safe,

I paid 690 Euros (approx $860 USD) back at the end of 2017. I think it was one of the first here in the USA and this was the only shipping method available
Arrived very quickly and in excellent condition.
Jean Marc has always been very good to do deal with ...

Shipping USA Aircargo box 158X 65X 73 Icoterm ist DAP.

Dirk did get at least one of the new larger one.....and considering a micro T-1 at present is 1k usd to ship to the the USA I can just imagine the cost for a 3m jets....

Are you sure I’m in the wrong thread?
On my end this is the original JMB Jets PC21 thread that I started, which is why I answered

Wow, that XXL is a pretty big plane. Already I find that the original version is challenging to assemble when alone at the field.
I hope to see a detailed thread on the build of the XXL (simply curious).
Btw, the cost to bring this to Canada was: TNT Airfreight @ 643.30€

I’m going to design a cradle which will hopefully help with assembly
Its much lighter than the composite fuse SkyMaster but the built up balsa fuse is a bit more fragile for handling and spreading the weight

I also plan on building a portable charging case dedicated to the plane, AC or built in LiFePO4 powered, just to keep the batteries topped up between flights

just not enough free time ...

So I take it that you bought one? What colour scheme are you getting (or is this a surprise)? And I imagine that you're going with the K100TP?

Fyi, I am swapping out the pneumatic retracts for the JP Hobby ones. Got the right wing done, and starting the left wing. These are really nice retracts. Although, my pneumatic were great too (probably put them up for sale).

Sorry for the confusion
I just gave the original version/size with a K45TP and Electron ER40, red/white Swiss scheme (very good visibility and orientation color scheme for me)
There is no possible was for me to store or transport the new XXL PC21 from Jean Marc

If I had the space, I would have an A-10

Wink

I treated myself to the Freewing A-10 early this year. Great plane. Flies extremely well. It's just that the 5000mAh 50c batteries don't last long. Perhaps this YT is the solution?

... I prefer my PC-21

I really like the JMB PC21
When I can’t sleep I just go into the basement and look at it ... it’s just a pretty airframe IMHO

If I ever got an A-10 it would likely be the Mibo Jets
“Go big or Go Home” mentality !

Regarding the foamy, I’d check to see if Amir at HAB.se offers an install kit for turbine conversion
Those are available for other airframes and are very nice to work with.
