I'm having the exact same issue with my M4A3 after several hours of use. Initially they were as tight & quiet but now the chatter / grinding noise is so loud at this point it totally drowns out engine & other sound effects, & I'm already seeing brass filings on the hull floor. MATO claims the "wobble" is within tolerance but offered to send shims for a fix if I want.

The losseness is within the normal range. and it will not affect the normal operation of the gearbox. We can provide some shims to you to fill the space if you mind. But it may heat up due to friction during the gearbox working for your reference.
Anyone have a better solution?
