Yes, am starting to agree that what they are selling certainly isn't worth the price, especially after only a few hours use. I've not yet removed the gearbox but from what I observe it appears the frame is not true & pushed out with 3mm play. I'll take it apart this weekend & see what can be done or better yet, follow your suggestion on a retrofit to fix it.

Another pet peeve of mine is their lack of thread lock on any fasteners. Between that & the sloppy paint work, I wish had purchased this in bare metal & done a thorough check & finished it myself.
