On the two planes I'm working on, the fuse sides were cut out with a band saw and sanded to shape, the wing ribs were rough cut and sandwiched between two ply patterns and sanded to the edges of the patterns, all using my belt sanders. Ribs came out perfectly matched and the fuse sides are so close there is virtually no difference in them. A final light sand with a sanding bar and the parts all were ready to install.
