My Edge has zero down thrust and it has a very nice slow speed approach with a 91 FX. Dont try to final very shallow and long, better to bring her in with a controlled power glide type descent and smoothly reduce power as it comes near the ground. I would even consider some up thrust if it baloons when power is chopped. But right now mine seems just about perfect with zero up or down thrust.
