RE: costs between sim jet and jetcat
JetCat Service...............
How many of you guys remember the Utah meet this year, when Bob Wilcox disassembled Ed Allen's P-80 to make some field repairs after a belly landing in Ed's BobCat XL? Lots of guys were there video taping the disassembly and the assembly procedure at my pit.
Bob used my tools and the vice in my trailer to get Ed back in the air again. There were lots of wide open eyes, and plenty of questions were asked and answered. Afterward, Ed finished flying the meet, and won the trophy for the Best Sport Jet with his very first jet! How's that for "above and beyond'?
Bob Wilcox delivered my first JetCat, a P-120, to me at another meet this year, after talking to him on Jason Somes' cell phone the previous day from the meet. How many others would do that? I sent him the money Monday after the meet. That's customer service!
The reason for my mentioning this, is that you CANNOT get or ask for better customer service than JetCat delivers. Bob and Matt have been able to help many of us here in this area. You seldom need to ask for help at any of our local meets when they are there. They OFFER it. We are very fortunate to have them in our area.
They understand exactly what customer service is, and go out of their way to deliver it. One manufacturer went down the drain because they didn't understand that the turbine community is small, and word travels fast. Screw one customer, and the whole community sees it on the internet the same day.
Lets hope that good words travel as fast.
