Joe, don't forget to take a look at the wing joints where the outer wing panel meets the wing center section.
I would reinforce that joint in the front and in the rear. It's a weak part of the design. There's not a lot of strength in the foam cores and balsa sheeting. Longer, stronger reinforcers will help a lot.
