I got 4 flights in yesterday. Everything thing went well on the first day out. The jet flew pretty much perfectly. The gyro settings recommended here in this thread were spot on. On the first flight it only needed 3 clicks of down elevator for trim. The retracts worked well with no issues retracting or extending the gear. The brakes worked really well and did not pull to either side when full force applied. The K30 is very well suited for this airframe, it’s not a speed demon but it gets around the pattern pretty quickly. Landing was uneventful, just using the flaps at the factory recommended setting the jet slows down very nicely, I was worried about residual thrust but that was not a problem at all. I have not tried the slats yet. All in all I’m very pleased with this aircraft and look forward to flying it more.
