Default RE: Primming a Cowled Engine ??????

Saw something once at Scale Masters.

Priming a big fourstroke deep in a cowl the builder had some brass plumbing that ran to a point on the upper part of the cowl and it stopped over the carb. He turned his radio on, open throttle, take a Sig primer bottle and squirt some fuel down thru this brass tube that exited over the carb. Close throttle to idle turn on glow, flip and go. Pretty ingenious as there was no way to get to his carb much less anything else.

Just a thought.
