You can just set the max rpm to the value that is at the thrust you want. If anyone were to question it just plug in your GSU and go to the limits menu and show them your settings. Or just add the speedlimiter and it doesn't matter. I did not like the idea of a speedlimiter at first but after playing with it all last weekend it is a great tool, and fun to use as well. JetCat's speedlimiter is integrated into the ECU so it can be used as a cruise control as well.

Pat I don't think the AMA rules specifically address that the manufacturer must set the max thrust.
