He is notable in the turbine community. He and some others from F3A, IMAC, and sailplane disciplines have been working for a couple years setting up an alternative CBO which they gave the unfortunate name (IMO) of
Professional Modelers Association. They intend to offer members 2 million in primary insurance and negotiate with FAA for higher flying ceilings. No website yet -- but lots of vapor.
