Congrats on the trimming flights! Glad to hear that you were not disappointed with the Extra. Boy, that's light too at just a shade over 7 pounds.

Got back in town last night and was at the field this afternoon. The Edge now finally lands very smooth, almost like a trainer. Last time out it was just about perfect until the untimely loss of my left main put an end to the day.

Today we added one more click of down elevator to the throttle mix and it seemed just about right. Then we tried Flaperons.......we almost went to a spoileron set up but decided to try flaps first. At 20 degrees set up on a landing switch that can be hit on final approach, the Edge glides in at a very predictable sink rate allowing good flares even in a 10 to 12 mph headwind. Will probably take out the throttle/elevator as it's no longer needed.
