Hi Fellas - sorry for the long back-story, but I'm real excited about this project.

I spent a lot of the 2019 season training my son on his E-flite Apprentice airplane. Unfortunately, we were not able to fly very much this year due to Covid. So it's become more of a build year for me. So I reached out to Larry and purchased a new Boomerang Elan. I don't intend to put my son into it straight away. I also got him a cub and I have several prop-planes we will use to continue to train. But I'm so proud of the progress he has made, I just can't wait for him to take over all of my planes.

Anyway, I'm going to post a few pics of the unboxing and assembly. This is a second Boomerang for me, I purchased a Sprint from a friend when I first got into turbine jets. I quickly sold it when I received my waiver, and I've always regretted selling it. Now that my son is getting more into the hobby (so glad), what better excuse to buy a new Boomer. I went with the Elan in the Thunderbird scheme. I prefer the fiberglass fuselage of the Elan over the Sprint.

I have not seen any movement on this thread, and this new version is so improved I thought I should share it with you.

Here we go - It was packed really well. No damage at all.
