Have you tried loosening the mounting strap? If yours continuously sticks it can be the case is being stressed by the mount. I only nip my mounts enough to stop it rotating...I’ve seen people dent the cases with straps over tightened.
Is the temperature reading ambient correct? If it does not cool enough any of the oils will gum where they are hot still. Also, you are not using Aeroshell 500? That’s the worst for that.
On V12.0 ECU’s the cooling takes it down to 70 degrees, this can be programmed into a V10 by George.
