Hi all, I’m new here and I know very little about RC vehicles. The reason I created an account in this forum is because I came across a Thunder Tiger Skylark 40T in the basement of my parents house and I’d like to find out more about it. I presume that it was built probably decades ago now and it appears that it has never been flown. looks like it dates back to the late 1980’s. Its condition is definitely not perfect, especially the wing which looks like it needs to be re-skinned, but overall it appears solid. Is this considered a good/cool/rare RC plane (sorry for the simple language)?

It’s doubtful that I or anyone else in my family will ever take the time to figure this thing out and get it flying, and I admit that RC vehicles are no longer a hobby of mine. Is it worth selling this plane, and what might it be it’s value? If it’s not worth much, then would this plane last another 10-20 years in climate controlled storage (aka my basement) to see if the next generation has any interest?
