Yep, a previous owner (presumably the builder) added that hatch, very handy to have access there when the gear or rails need to be serviced/repaired.

one more quick question. Does the nose retract swing through more than 90 degrees? I seem to be having some trouble getting the strut to be in the correct position and also retract enough to fit into the doors...
