Gary, have you thought about throwing a wheel collar on one of those red inlet lines and pinching the line a bit. My guess is that the difference in friction/stiction between the 2 cyliners is just too much and you are getting the inevitable bind. It might be better with one of them slowed down a bit.

The other thing I would look at is maybe introducing some "controlled" slop in that system, but I would not know where to do it. That would let the compliance happen at a known point and then you can manage it better. When everyhting is tight it is hard to know where to start.
