If you are talking about the ignition firing the plug when you turn the prop, the newer ignitions will only fire the plug when you turn the prop at cranking speeds or above. Simply turning the prop won’t fire the plug. If you are talking about another problem then a better description of the problem is needed.
What newer engines are you referring to that need flip speed to get spark ? Every DLE ,RCEXL, CH type ignition I've seen will fire while passing the magnet under the sensor , regardless of speed . The only type ignition I've seen that require flip speed over 200 rpm would be some 3W and DA engines . Just curious so that I know which ones require a good flip speed as well . Thx
