What newer engines are you referring to that need flip speed to get spark ? Every DLE ,RCEXL, CH type ignition I've seen will fire while passing the magnet under the sensor , regardless of speed . The only type ignition I've seen that require flip speed over 200 rpm would be some 3W and DA engines . Just curious so that I know which ones require a good flip speed as well . Thx
Any of the later Rcexl A-02 ignitions have this feature. Can’t quote an exact date when they started doing this but I first noticed it several years ago. Many people complain about this when trying to set the sensor using the spark as an indicator. Just time using a sensor tester then no issue.
