If not, you're looking for the imex model company in Florida. I've tried the v3 gears and I disagree about being a better quality. They're louder and you won't get anywhere close to enough top speed for a modern tank. If it was me, and I've been doing this for about eight years now, I would get a set of V2 Ball Bearing gearboxes in the 3 to 1 ratio and slap them right in that puppy. End of problem. The chances of another set of gearboxes failing on you like that are probably in the millions to one. That's why I said that Erik just might want to see those old gears, because a failure on the V2 is so very, very rare.

And while I make my living as a machinist, I'm also a certified Master Auto Mechanic, certified Master motorcycle mechanic, and a certified rec Trailer Tech. I think that gives us something in common, so you have a friendly ear here in Detroit, just in case you need it.
