#2 Ready to fly

Initial fuel system tests and turbine start and run worked great. I really like the start up of the X-45.

I'm using Dave's new Lua app for the Xicoy Telemetry Adaptor. The adaptor must have the latest firmware to transmit turbine status messages. Mine had to be returned for the firmware update.

#2 is a little more cluttered than #1 because I am using a CortexPro gyro and added a MGPS module. Otherwise same as #1.

My CG numbers are identical to #1. This CG is 150mm behind the wing LE with 7oz of fuel (.1 lbs) in the header tank. The weight is slightly heavier than #1 due to the new JP wheels and brakes (which are not light), the CortexPro, and MGPS module. I'll adjust as needed after flying.

HVAC aluminum tape applied to the foam area above the turbine and inside both nozzles. Tape painted to match existing colors. FOD cover on back of C/L tank covers front of turbine and worked well on #1.

JP wheels and brakes on the Top Design struts. Fuel feeds from external tank go to header tank and vent. Wheels are slightly smaller than stock wheels which has a more positive pitch attitude when sitting on the ground.

#2 ready to test fly. Planning on taking it to the SC Tiger Meet Jet Rally next week.
