True... Oil does not carry heat away. What it MIGHT do, is provide better heat transfer from piston to liner, and it might reduce the generation of heat by reducing friction, but normally, if you measure really accurately, every percentage point oil over the absolute minimum will increase engine temperature by roughly 1,5 deg C or about 2F
That minimum, for glow fourstrokes, is around 10~12%, a bit depending on engine size and Nitro content.
